How do I get my roommates in?

Open your group and tap the invite button at the top. Share the code (or the link) with your roommates. They open SplitSync, tap … on the Groups screen, choose Join with a code and type it in.

How are balances worked out?

Every expense records who paid and how it's split: equally, by exact amounts, or by percentage. A group's balance is what each person paid minus their share of everything. Settle up suggests the fewest repayments that get everyone back to zero.

Someone paid me back. How do I record it?

Open the group, tap Settle up and pick the repayment, or choose Record another repayment for a different amount.

Can I bring my history from Splitwise?

Yes. In Splitwise, open the group's settings and choose Export as spreadsheet, then share the file to SplitSync and pick the group it belongs to. You can also save the file and, in SplitSync, choose Import from Splitwise in the group's settings. Either way, you match each person in the file to a member before anything is imported, and you can undo an import from Past imports.

Where do the categories come from?

SplitSync picks a category for each expense from its description, in English or Hebrew.

How do I leave a group?

Open the group's settings and choose Leave group. Your balance in the group has to be zero first, so settle up before you go.

How do I delete my account?
